Dim T is a successful little chain – one of the first to recognise the tapas-like appeal of serving high-class dim sum at all times of day and without the mystique of Chinatown. That’s not to be held against it. It has clearly hit on a winning formula: a good selection of dim sum aided and abetted by a range of pan-Asian dishes, including mix-and-match noodles (with chicken, salmon, steak or prawn), and new universal favourites like Thai green curry and crispy duck. It won’t win awards but it hits the spot pretty well, and kids love the place.
