Devoted to Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints, this friendly little gallery is an unusual highlight of the Camden Passage antiques arcade. Prints are arranged by theme and artist, and leafing through the racks to pick a favourite swiftly becomes compelling. Casual browsers may well prefer to snap up the good-quality reproductions at bargain prices. However, buying a genuine original needn’t be that expensive. The atmosphere is not at all intimidating and the helpful staff are very happy to explain the history of ukiyo-e in general, or any specific print.
