This delightful puppet theatre, ensconced in a former temperance hall just off Islington’s busiest shopping street, has been entertaining audiences for fifty years. Most of its inventive shows are based on familiar folk tales and aimed at young children, with daytime performances to suit pre-schoolers as well as school groups. They also host more adult-themed productions as well, often by touring companies. The hundred-seat auditorium gives everyone a close-up view, and you can also peep into the little workshop alongside to see where the colourful marionettes are carved and brought to life.
