This dusty den of antiques is typical of the whimsical shops of Notting Hill. The place feels like the costume cupboard of a particularly eccentric dada theatre, and the owner is of course called Mr Ben. You can find almost anything amongst the jumble of aged, interesting and sometimes beautiful furniture, from a growling King Kong to a range of apothecary jars to cranky old pinball machines. You won't find a price tag on anything, but if you're curious or interested enough you can haggle with the staff, who are usually to be found lounging on a sofa outside the shop.
