You’re most likely to be lured into this Chinatown restaurant by the glowing bronzed roast ducks hanging in the window. Have no fear – they taste every bit as good as they look. Order them with a stack of pancakes and some hoisin sauce, or simply sliced on a bed of rice, on or off the bone: pure melt-in-your-mouth pleasure. The decor here is very old-school – one large brightly lit dining room, with gilded red chairs set around no-frills tables – but the service is extremely friendly, and if you’re not a duck-ophile there are plenty of alternatives, at good prices. And the extended hours means it’s a good spot for a late-night feed.
