Why not try a spot of 'Reverse Living' in Sheringham on the North Norfolk Coast? Tucked away at the end of a quite lane just outside the centre of town, this beautiful designer house makes for a terrific spot from which to explore not just the delights of the Sheringham itself (recently voted one of the best places in live in Britain in the Sunday Times) but also the North Norfolk Coast in general. The property is also well named – you have a lovely view of the treetops from the floor-to-ceiling windows of its gorgeous open plan living space, and the property is run with love and care by Charlotte and her husband, who live next door and are always on hand should guests need anything.

Tree Top View feels very private and secluded, yet is within a 10-minute walk from Sheringham's town centre and all-important beach. By 'Reverse', they of course mean 'Upside Down', which also explains the name – the bedrooms are at the bottom, the living space at the top, giving wonderful views over the woodland in front of the house. The ground floor is home to two spacious bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, the other with a super-king that can be split into two singles, and a shower room with a loo, sink and high-pressure walk-in shower. There's a further bathroom upstairs with a dual-end bath from which you can relax and enjoy the best of the views.

Also upstairs, the living space consists of vaulted open-plan sitting room, kitchen and diner, with a wood-burning stove and bi-fold doors opening onto a Juliet balcony. It's all beautifully done, and has all the amenities you might want – underfloor heating, good wifi, Smart TVs, a DVD player and lots and lots of light. The kitchen is high spec and well equipped, with a ceramic hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher and slow cooker, while the dining space easily seats 6 people and can be provided with for high chairs and booster seats if needed. There's also a washing machine downstairs and you have access to the garden in front of the property.

Finally, not only is Tree Top View well-named, it's well located too, close to  the town centre yet far enough away to be an absolute haven of peace and quiet. If you want to enjoy Sheringham and around there's no need to get into your car – Cromer and Weybourne are both easy walks on the Norfolk Coast path, and the nearby North Norfolk Railway takes in a number of appealing spots on its way to Holt: one of North Norfolk's most elegant small towns. You're also just across the road from the lovely Priory Maze & Garden.

Further afield, you can go west to the nature reserve at Cley or to see the seals at Blakeney Point – both no more more than a few minutes' drive away. There'a also the National Trust properties of nearby Sheringham Park and Felbrigg Hall. It's all highly recommended - and the welcome you receive from Charlotte is second to none!

Definitely recommend – a perfect break

We have just had a wonderful stay at Tree Top View. The house is in a great location close to the town centre, in a quiet spot with only the bird song for noise. The house is so comfortable, a home from home. Everything you’ll need is here and the upside-down living is great - watching the birds from the lounge window in the morning is good for the soul. Charlotte was helpful and left thoughtful additions for our arrival such as milk, eggs and books and toys for my four-year-old, which she loved.

Would definitely recommend

We enjoyed a 7-night break at this beautiful place. Very quiet and relaxing with wonderful views. The accommodation has everything you could ever wish for and is only approximately 12 minutes away from the centre of Sheringham.

Beautiful and caters for everyone

Thank you for a lovely little break for our friend’s 50th Birthday. Charlotte was so helpful from the moment we booked and provided some good recommendations for the local area. She even put the Christmas tree up for us too!

A stunning house

A stunning house, exactly as the photos & description. The 'topsy turvy ' accommodation means that the best views are from the spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area which also has full width bi fold doors for the warmer days. The map on the kitchen wall is a fun feature as well as being useful! The two bedrooms on the ground floor are also spacious & comfortable with plenty of storage space. Off street parking is always a bonus for a holiday let. The house is well positioned for a walk into town for the independent shops & restaurants as well as the beach & coastal path in both directions. Lots more lovely coastal walks within a few minutes drive. All in all a great place to stay for our first visit to North Norfolk.

Fantastic!

Second time staying here can't fault anything. Charlotte is a great host. The house has everything you need and was spotless. Very quiet where it is situated and only a few minutes walk to beach/high street. We will be back.

Fantastic!

Everything in a nutshell, just like the squirrels that we saw whilst watching the many different birds who were in direct view from our seat on the sofa! Comfy beds, spotlessly clean and beautiful as well. Just loved the OS map of the area on the kitchen wall...you can plan your walk(s) from there or catch a bus in any direction from the bus stop a few yards down the road. Practically perfect in every way :o)

Highly recommended!

Friendly greeting, warm welcome, well presented and fitted accommodation. A quiet secluded location but handy for Sheringham. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay.

Fabulous Christmas at Treetop view

Treetop view was amazing. We stayed for Christmas as a family of four. House has everything you need, warm and cosy, beautiful views from the upstairs viewing area. We saw lots of wildlife, saw a deer most days too which made it really magical. Treetop is within easy walking distance to sheringham centre and we enjoyed a few drinks in The Crown in Sheringham overlooking the sea. We were close enough to Norwich for Last minute Christmas Shopping. The walk to Beeston bump is spectacular. Well worth it once you reach the top. Having the two bathrooms was lovely especially with two teenage children getting ready in the morning! The organisation of the kitchen was brilliant and had everything we needed for our stay. We would love to return again soon.
