A sweet little white-washed B&B on a cobbled street with views – naturally! – reaching over to the castle. Even better it's only a few minutes away from the cathedral. The rooms are large and airy with understated elegance. The whole B&B has had a recent refurb and looks spick and span - the rooms have all got either king-sized or twin beds, and there's a delightful courtyard garden where you can relax with a cup of tea and a biscuit. The owners are super-friendly, and live a just a few cottages down the road. They are willing to arm you with plenty of info on the city, with everything basically just a short stroll away.
There's (limited) free parking and a quiet garden – two rarities to find so close to the centre. Did we mentioned the free Wi-Fi?
