Run by Neil, Kathy and Son Matthew Howard and their friendly and helpful staff who will do their utmost best to make you feel like the king and queen of the castle.
Two of the rooms have four-poster beds, though if you’ve got a little extra cash to spare, why not treat yourself to a night in the Penthouse suite, complete with two double bedrooms, open plan lounge and kitchen?
The warming lounge bar is the perfect retreat for a nightcap, or you can while away an hour or so among the books and newspapers in the smart library. Breakfast, meanwhile, comes with the promise of fresh fruits, yoghurts and cheeses alongside a full cooked Welsh.
