Suffolk

Suffolk, a low-lying county sandwiched between Essex and Norfolk, makes up much of the East Anglia region. It's not home to the most dramatic of landscapes but has a great deal of charm and lots of pleasant rural areas, plus the heaths and woodland of the Suffolk Coast have been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and are explorable by way of an alluring long-distance coastal path. Visit Constable Country made famous by Suffolk born landscape artist John Constable. The quintessentially English scene scapes of Flatford Mill and Dedham Vale, and the riverside walks and pubs along the River Stour.

As for hotels in Suffolk,  you can find plenty of places to stay out and a wide selection of hotels and B&Bs (and also glamping options) along the coast, while the county's towns – notably the county town of Ipswich and pretty Bury St Edmunds – offer lots in terms of things to do, places to eat and accommodation options.
