Towan Beach
Newquay
The closest beach to the town centre, Towan is the place where the bucket and spade brigades congregate, and consequently often Newquay’s busiest stretch. In the middle of the beach sits an extraordinary ‘house in the sea’ perched on a private island towering above the sand. No beach parking (parking is just five minutes’ walk up the hill in town). Dogs welcome. Accessible – a sand chair is available to hire from the Aquarium.
