Part of the St Austell Brewery family, The Harbour Inn is easily by-passed with its unassuming front tucked in a narrow street just back from the harbour. Yet step inside and the interior is both spacious and welcoming – having  been fully refurbished without losing any of its original charm, it retains the feel of a historic local boozer. Sink into fat leather sofas by the log fire or take a pew among the nautical paraphernalia that’s stacked to the (low) timber rafters. Children and dogs welcome. Decent pub food and daily specials available.
