Walk from Rock to Polzeath
Start at the Rock ferry landing
Much of the Cornish coastal footpath makes you work hard for your rewards but the section from Rock to Polzeath (at just under three miles) is very manageable – and incredibly beautiful. It takes you along the expanse of sand at Daymer Bay, around the head of the Camel Estuary, finishing in the seaside village of Polzeath, with its wide sandy (and surf-lashed) beach. It will also leave you with enough energy to take the diversion to pretty St Enodoc Church, where John Betjeman is buried.
