Located in an uber-cool renovated warehouse over three floors, Shoreditch House is a private club with an adjoining restored pub where 26 bedrooms – available to non-members – are housed. The rooms are light and bright, though not on the large size; in fact they come in Tiny, Small and Small+ sizes. But they’re unexpectedly homely rather than intimidatingly chic, with wooden panelling painted in pale shades, bedside radios, old-style telephones, tallboys and shutters. The quirky ‘Borrow Me’ collection enables you to rent vintage books, games and even dressing-up accessories. Four of the rooms have private balconies.
