Strete Barton House is a stylish and calm B&B in a 16th-century Devon manor house, a stone’s throw from the coastal path in the little village of Strete, this makes for a stunning venue. Owners Stuart and Kevin are as much concerned with its local and environmental impact as with the exotic decor and attention to detail and provide information for guests on the sources of the food and their environmental policy. Expect a delicious, healthy breakfast feast. There are five luxurious rooms and a cottage suite (all B&B), all redesigned by the owners to reflect their travels and personality. The Cottage suite sleeps 2. It is on two floors and has its own private entrance, the bedroom is on the first floor and has a sea view. Families are welcome, although no under 8s as there are some precious ornaments around. Dogs are allowed to stay in the cottage.
