One of Rye's smallest hotels, with around a dozen en-suite rooms, all cosily furnished in a different style. There are also a couple of small apartments and a two hundred year old fisherman's cottage to rent.
The hotel dates back to the 18th-century (though doesn't everything in Rye?) and it is well located right in the centre of town. Downstairs the restaurant serves local seafood, meat and other dishes, while upstairs windows have spectacular views across Romney Marsh, Camber Castle and the sea. Rates include an excellent breakfast, and overall the hotel enjoys a great location in the centre of Rye.
