Chic little rooms that come with a piece of pie – the Apple Pie bakery and café that is, which is right next door. Eight modern rooms on three floors will appeal to most, and while there’s not much space there’s a keen sense of style and some useful extras, from fresh milk and real coffee to iPod docks, wine glasses and corkscrews in the rooms. Two adjacent loft rooms (the cheapest) only have skylight windows, but they’re handy for families and friends (plus they have baths as well as showers). It’s room only, but you get ten percent off a bakery breakfast, from sausage and egg butties to pancakes with bacon and maple syrup.
