Eco-friendly B&Bs don’t come much more glamorous than Moss Grove, sited in the middle of William Wordsworth’s old stamping ground. Refurbished on organic, the 11 rooms, spread over three floors including the ground, are pared-back to the point of austerity yet, surprisingly, don’t feel unwelcoming. This boutique B&B features rooms with natural-inked wallpaper, majestic bespoke beds of reclaimed timber, local oak floors and duck-down duvets.
