Taking a sea plane ride out of Glasgow is as thrilling an experience as any city in the UK offers. You board the plane on the Clyde and swoop off above Glasgow taking in swathes of the city’s skyline as you go. The route you take is weather-dependent, but the standard 40-minute scenic flight usually takes in a flurry of Argyll’s sea lochs and mountains, as well as Glasgow’s favourite aquatic playground of Loch Lomond.
